Day 57. We are offering our first web hosting discount
Today, I spent the entire day on Quora, while my partner chose the Fiverr platform. In the specialist rating, he selected those who were suitable for our topic and sent private messages to propose cooperation.
Our idea is to offer our web hosting services to a development and configuration specialist at a discounted rate, in exchange for him promoting our hosting services to his own clients. This way, he can bring in clients while receiving ongoing support and collaboration from us.
After calculating the web hosting discount, I offered my partner to start with 30% off, along with a bonus of being able to purchase the first package with an one-month extension.
Going slightly off topic, I want to explain something to you. When starting a project, I found information suggesting that by offering very low-cost web hosting packages, you may attract spammers and scammers. It is advisable to offer an initial web hosting package with payment for at least three months, or more. This approach will deter potential scammers and violators from taking interest in your services.
In light of this, when working with programmers, we will offer them our first web hosting package monthly instead of the standard three-month option as advertised on our website + 30% web hosting discount.
Not all programmers were online. The first one promptly declined our offer. The second programmer responded hours later, mentioning that he was already collaborating with another hosting company. We reached out to a third programmer, but he was never online.
We will follow up with him tomorrow to see his response.
