Day 18. Data center location considerations

All day I have been collecting information about the current legislation for the location where our servers are located. This is very important and something you need to pay attention to if you decide to get into reseller hosting.

If you bought a server for resale, for example, in Spain, and live in the USA, you need to study the laws of Spain. You will be responsible to the cyber police and government agencies of Spain.

Likewise, and vice versa, a resident of Spain bought a server in the USA, which means he must act in accordance with the laws of the USA.

Of course, you may not delve into such subtleties. But if you work for a long time, you may encounter frauds, scams, spams and other violations from the clients. And this will lead to the need to cooperate with the authorities investigating these violations.
