Today, I spent half of the day trying to pick a domain name for our web hosting company. There is a plethora of advice on the Internet, various opinions, and videos on YouTube. After studying a large amount of this information, we decided not to follow current trends, but to make a choice based on our preferences.

My partner, who is also my colleague and devoted friend, and I decided to pick a domain name by considering what we like, while also checking the availability of the domain name for registration and its uniqueness compared to other existing domains and websites on the Internet. Our principle was as follows:

– Choose from a pre-compiled list of domain names.
– Conduct a search to see if any similar names exist.
– If minimal information is available, check the availability of the domain name with the registrar.

I am not a marketing expert and do not know much about current advertising trends, but I believe that having fewer competitors in the chosen niche will make it easier to stand out. Therefore, we decided on several potential domain name options.

We brainstormed several good names for the future domain, but they were all already taken. While such names can sometimes be repurchased, the cost is often unreasonably high. As a result, we opted to incorporate the first letters of our names into the domain to make it unique.

Since my third potential investor has not responded, I took the initiative to reach out to him today to inquire about the progress and if he still has interest. However, I am already anticipating the outcome. We will see what the next day brings.
